| Warning!
Watch out for those counterfeits that you will be paying extra money for.
There are a lot of counterfeit kits made from china using the actual company logos
and fonts. A good example is the BOSCH HID's. There are a lot of companies
selling fake BOSCH HID KITS. Now the problem is not that the kits are not good, (in fact
the kits are probably good) but the real problem is that the consumer ends up paying more than
they have to, thinking they are getting a good brand, when in fact, its just another
chinese HID kit, thats put into a fake BOSCH packaging. Here is a link from Japan
BOSCH writing about the problems of counterfeits. http://www.bosch.co.jp/jp/aa/products/pdf/rbjp-070810-01.pdf Although its in japanese, follow the link back and you will see the link that says "Notice about counterfeit HID conversion kits. Also, watch out for guys claiming that their kits are from japan or germany. Look for the stamp that says "Made in Japan" or "Made in Germany". Most kits wont have this stamp because its made in china. Now we are not saying chinese products are subpar. Our kits in fact comes from china. And we are honest about it. Our point is, "why spend extra money" purchasing a mis-labled product that is made in china? The real kits from Japan and Germany costs over $250, so if the price is lower than that, you need to be really carefull. But even though our kits are from china, there are different grades of kits. we have bought and tested over 10 kits. The one we stand behind, is in our opinion, the best kit for the money. There were actually a couple of kits that were lower priced than the ones we got, but when we opened the ballast, the circuit board was a mess. The other kits that were higher priced than ours, looked like it was made at the same factory. No difference. Thats another thing about non-branded HID's. There are hundreds of different boxes, with the same exact kit in them. Just the box is different. How do i know? Just look at all the various kits. the ballast, the bulbs, the protective covers, all look the same. The only ones that should truely cost more is the 55W HIDs, and slim line ballasts. The 55W HID's are not necessarily better. Some cars (mostly european) needs the 55W version, so that their cars computer wont know that the lights have been changed. If the computer detects a 35W lighting system, the car will think that theres a problem with the lighting system, and will give a error message, and even sometimes, wont start. So look well before you buy. Look at all the other kits on the market. You will see that our kits are the same exact thing as the others. Just priced alot better, since we dont go through a middleman (distributor). Don't pay more than $120 for a HID kit.
